Before being granted a license, the applicant shall give a blanket performance bond
to the city in the penal sum of $5,000.00, with surety to be approved by the city
clerk-treasurer, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties, according
to the terms of this article, which bond shall be for the term of one year and shall
be renewed annually.
