§ 18-31. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Amusement location means any public room area where amusement machines are located.

Amusement machine means any machine or device which is operated by coin or token, primarily for music or amusement purposes, and that is not a machine or device used exclusively for the vending of merchandise of a tangible nature.

Owner means a person, corporation or entity that owns, sells, leases or rents any amusement machine, whether on his own behalf or for or to another, within the city.
