§ 42-3. Nonreverting operating fund.

(a)

Created. There is hereby created within the department of public parks a nonreverting operating fund for the use and benefit of the department of public parks for the purposes provided for by IC 36-10-3-22.

(b)

Moneys excluded. The moneys in the form of fees procured from the golf courses, swimming pools, skating rinks or other similar facilities requiring major expenditures for management and maintenance shall not be deposited in the nonreverting operating fund.

(c)

Disbursal of moneys. The moneys from the nonreverting operating fund shall be disbursed only on approved claims allowed and signed by the president and secretary of the board of parks and recreation.
