§ 54-139. Reservation of powers.

Nothing in this division shall be construed as prohibiting the city from providing for bus stops, taxicab stands and other matters of a similar nature, including the loading and unloading of trucks, vans or other commercial vehicles, except that the board of public works and safety shall have the power to determine and charge an annual rental for permanent stops or stands commensurate with the probable income that would be derived from meter collections if meters were installed at such stands.
