§ 54-103. Loading zones.

  • Loading zones along the curb shall be designated by signs upon the curb or otherwise for the loading and unloading of passengers or materials at office buildings, hotels, public entrances or points where the general conveniences of the public requires or where unusual quantities of freight or merchandise are loaded or unloaded. The number of such zones, in order to conserve parking space, shall be restricted to actual necessities or the public convenience, and if there is such a time as such zone is not needed for loading, then the sign marking the zone should specify when the zone can be used for regular parking.
