§ 58-132. Rates and charges.

(a)

Established. The rates and charges for the use of and the services rendered by the waterworks system of the city shall be as follows:

(b)

Billing and collection. All bills are due and payable on the first day of every month and shall become delinquent after the 15th day of the month. Delinquent bills shall be charged a collection charge of ten percent on the first $3.00 of the unpaid billing and three percent on the balance of the unpaid billing in excess of $3.00. Hydrant rentals shall be payable by the civil city semiannually and private fire protection charges shall be payable on the first day of each month.
