§ 58-224. Residential septage.

Latest version.
  • (a)

Before discharging septage generated at residential sites in the county at the city's wastewater plant, the hauler shall pay a fee of $30.00 for loads up to 1,500 gallons. Such rate is based on the water surcharges applied in accordance with section 58-223 and the sampling and analysis fees for pH only.

    (b)

If, upon analysis, review or observation, the characteristics of the septage to be discharged, or being discharged, or during the treatment process appear to be questionable or unreliable, at the discretion of the POTW manager, additional costs incurred for the required additional analysis and/or by the termination of the discharge approval will be the sole responsibility of the hauler. The scheduled costs of various tests for additional analysis shall be available at the wastewater plant and shall not exceed $500.00 per load of 1,500 gallons or less.
